WE ARE CLOSING

 

To all our wonderful and faithful Clients,

For the last 35 years we have been here for your boarding and training needs and as hard as the work has been, it was our pleasure. It is with a heavy heart that I need to inform you that Silver State Kennel will be closing its doors forever on 10/17/2024. Please believe me when I say that this was truly the hardest decision I have ever made. The kennel has been our child and the gut and heart wrenching decision to let it go has been excruciating to say the least. It has taken many sleepless nights and tear filled days.

Unfortunately, the bottom line is Lori Eaton, my Manager for the last 24 years, has decided to move on to the next phase of her life. I cannot thank her enough for the dedication and hard work she has given to the kennel. I have come to the very sad conclusion that at my age I can no longer handle the day to day tasks of running and handling the kennel like I use to. It is now unfortunately too much for me. The other factor in this decision is the enormous boom in the growth around us. It is eating us up, and the true longevity of the kennel is coming to an end. If you have been out lately you have seen it. So, with that, now seems to be the best time to say good bye.

I know the enormous hardship this will put on our clients, and all I can say is I am sorry. This was never our end game plan, but this is where we have found ourselves.

We will continue to take Boarding reservations through the fall school break. All boarding dogs will have to be out by 10/17/24. We will not be taking any more Training reservations as all of our slots are full.

I want to truly thank each and every one of you that have supported and believed in us. We have had the absolute pleasure of serving you over the years. I wish you all the best.
