Our focus is on ensuring that the pets are kept healthy, well fed, and clean. We maintain the facility to a high standard and take pride in our operation.

Hi!
My name is Carolyn Goll, the proud owner of Silver State Kennel in Reno, Nevada. As a dog lover from day one, I knew that there was something special about animals that brought great joy to my life.
I started my official career working, initially while in High School, for seven years at a local veterinarian’s office in Lake Tahoe. In 1984, I started training my own dogs in AKC Obedience. One year later, I secured a job at a kennel and started training my own dogs and Retrievers for hunting and AKC Field Trials. At that point I was well on my way to take my talents on the road and started to run dogs in AKC Licensed Hunt Tests.
Since then, I have produced literally thousands of hunting dogs and hunt test dogs for clients throughout the United States. I have put AKC Retriever Hunting Test Titles on dogs at the Junior, Senior and Master levels. One of my greatest accomplishments to date is that I have trained and secured two dogs with Master National Hall of Fame, was a Three-Time-Qualifier with “Sungold’s Arizona Moss, MH” (Owned by Greg and Sue Gintoff), and Five-Time-Qualifier of “Siskiyou’s Water Hammer, MH” (Co-owned by Rocque Merlo and myself).
When I'm not training or traveling to Hunt Tests all over the nation, I try to find some quality time to bird hunt with my husband and dogs.
Finally, I know you have a wide variety of options as to where you may want to board or train your dog, and I just want to thank you for thinking of Silver State Kennel. I promise you that my company, and my incredible team, will do what ever it takes to exceed your expectations.
